French children write to Santa Claus asking for gifts and urging him to stay healthy

At Santa Claus' French secretariat in Libourne in the Gironde, an army of green elves is busy answering more than a million letters containing, as usual, lists of gifts and dreams to be fulfilled but also fears for his health and requests for facemasks for the D-day distribution at the foot of the Christmas tree.
