BTDP MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary said the YSRCP government was looking to build houses with minimal funding. Speaking to media at a function in Rajahmundry, he said that as part of the PM Awas Yojana, the Center was giving 1.5lakhs to each house, adding another Rs 30,000 and the state government was giving only Rs 1,80,000 and with this amount the houses would be stopped at the foundation stage.
