Flying Malaysian Airlines Most DIRTINESS Business Class Review A330-200 - Kuala Lumpur To Auckland. Never Again!

A complete review of the Malaysia Airlines A330-200 from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland.

Flying Business Class on the Kuala Lumpur To Auckland Route. Let us review the flight on Type A330-200 Airbus aircraft.

With 2 Business Tickets purchased we flew 10 hours 30 minutes to Auckland New Zealand

The flight itself was turbulent. Not just with the weather, but the overall Business Class experience.

The Aircraft Cabin was appalling. The Cabin class of Business Class seating was disgusting. Was stained, dirty and not cleaned to a satisfactory level. The business class seats were worn and shabby. The seats were narrow and uncomfortable with torn material as well as a faulty Armrest.
Luckily we were not tall, but still the available space on the Lay down business seating were not up-to standards as the rest of the many airlines offering Business Class travel. Was very uncomfortable to sleep. And having a Business Aisle seat, I was constantly knocked by passersby going to the toilet. The lay down seats are incredibly narrow and not built for large sizes. I am small and yet I had issues with space.

The complimentary bathroom sponge bag was very basic with no extras as other airlines would offer. Other then soap, socks, eye-mask and ear plugs.

The overall layout of the seating gave no room for any extra storage as most other Business Class Cabins provide. You could only stow most objects on the overhead bins.

The Cabin area as well as seats were damaged and evidence of food staining where no airline cleaning crew had bothered cleaning. The Meal Tray table was bent, causing your food plates etc to slide towards you. Luckily this was only stopped by the material table cloth which was provided.

The In-flight entertainment service was faulty. The remote control for the LCD did not work. The LCD entertainment center screen were most annoying as your neighbours could see the glare from the screens and vice versa. The selection of TV or Movies was the worst. Not many choices. And no new Blockbuster movies, with only a small handful of old movies at hand.

To add to the issues, the so called new head set which was packaged in plastic was open to be found faulty. The 2 prongs to clip into the sound system were bent. Once fixed the prongs, the headset only lasted for 15 minutes usage before the left ear head earpiece disintegrated and fell apart.

Malaysian Airlines Business Food Selection was not great. The food we feel did not meet a Business Class Meal grade, but was basically what we would expect as a cut down economy meal. The food itself was not the greatest to eat.

On the positive the Cabin Crew were GREAT

NOTE: The Cabin Staff were great and could not be faulted.
