कर्नाटक की बीजेपी सरकार ने बुधवार को विधानसभा में गौहत्या रोकथाम बिल पास कर दिया है इस बिल को पेश करने के दौरान विधानसभा में भारी हंगामा देखने को मिला. कांग्रेस समेत विपक्ष ने बिल का विरोध किया. विधानसभा से बिल के पास होन के बाद कर्नाटक के डिप्टी सीएम सीएन अश्वत्थ नारायण ने बिल का बचाव किया है. उन्होंने कहा है कि राज्य में गौ संरक्षकों के जीवन पर संकट था, इसलिए सरकार ने बीफ बैन बिल लाया है.
