One year since start of pandemic, China’s Covid-19 epicentre Wuhan seems lively and relaxed

Almost one year into the pandemic, Covid-19 has killed more than 1.5 million people and infected 68.8 million others worldwide. Several countries remain firmly in the grip of the coronavirus as they head into a new decade. But life in Wuhan, where the first Covid-19 cases were reported, has largely returned to normal. Footage from December 7, 2020, showed the central Chinese city appearing relaxed, with crowded markets, a lively flow of traffic and large gatherings at local parks.
