Diljit Dosanjh: Meet The Punjabi Star Winning Hearts

After supporting farmers' protest against the three farm laws on Twitter and getting into an ugly feud with Kangana Ranaut, Diljit Dosanjh joined the protest at the Delhi border. The actor-singer urged the government to meet their demands. He has reportedly donated Rs 1 crore to purchase warm clothes for the protesters. Punjabi singer Singga on his Instagram stories revealed that the Udta Punjab actor made the generous donation and chose not to make a “big deal” out of it. For the unversed, Diljit hails from a small village near Jalandhar and started singing in local Gurudwaras as a child.
