President Trump held a rally Saturday night in Georgia ahead of the Senate runoff race this January, as well as to draw support behind him in his current election fight in this and other close battleground states.
.
Rallygoers chanted “Stop the Steal!” numerous times before and throughout the rally, including during a speech by Senator Kelly Loeffler. In a noteworthy scene during the President’s speech when both Senators were brought on stage to give remarks, the crowd drowned out David Perdue with chants of “Fight for Trump!”, visibly disrupting him as he tried to speak over them. The moment made clear the crowd’s support for President Trump over establishment Republicans, as they called on the Senators to stand with him in his election battle as they ask for their vote in the upcoming Senate race.
