The government has decided to introduce Road Charge (RC) system and Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) for the northern zone in the country via open tender next year, said Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The Transport Minister said this when winding-up the Budget 2021 debate at the committee stage for the ministry in Parliament on Monday.

The allocation was later passed through bloc voting.
