Yes, bad news. It means that all professional sports matches in the Seoul area must be played behind closed doors.
The professional football, baseball and golf seasons are finished for the year in South Korea so this impacts KBL basketball and KOVO volleyball.
Volleyball games were already being played behind closed doors as a precaution after the guidelines were raised to level two on November 24th.
KBL basketball had been allowing 10-percent of capacity but some clubs decided to play games behind closed doors.
But this is now mandatory and affects 5 KBL basketball clubs and 10 volleyball clubs in the capital area.
