Ahead of the call for Bharat Bandh on Tuesday (December 8), several opposition parties from across the country have extended their support to farmers demanding the complete withdrawal of the central government's three new farm laws. Meanwhile, people have been queuing up at their respective polling booths as voting for the fourth phase of the District Development Council (DDC) elections is underway in the union territory on Monday.
