As the Centre continues to engage in discussions with the agitating farmers, NCP chief Sharad Pawar is scheduled to meet President Ram Nath Kovind on December 9 over the ongoing protests against the three agrarian laws. The meeting comes on the day of the next round of talks between the farmers' representatives and the Centre after the previous round ended inconclusively on Saturday.

अब कृषि कानून पर चर्चा करने के लिए एनसीपी प्रमुख शरद पवार राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद से मुलाकात करेंगे. महाराष्ट्र एनसीपी कार्यालय की ओर से जारी किए गए आधिकारिक बयान में कहा गया है कि शरद पवार 9 दिसंबर को राष्ट्रपति से मुलाकात करेंगे. वहीं 8 दिसंबर को बुलाए गए 'भारत बंद' के बीच राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी सुप्रीमो शरद पवार ने कहा कि केन्द्र सरकार ने संसद से इस बिल को पास कराने में जल्दबाजी दिखाई. उन्होंने कहा कि यही वजह है कि आज सरकार को समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा है.
