During Australia's run-chase, skipper Aaron Finch opened the innings with D'Arcy Short as David Warner has been ruled out of the T20Is. Despite a 56-run stand, Aussies slipped from thereon to be restricted for a modest 150 for 7. While Finch looked good for a 26-ball 35, he struggled during the running between wickets due to an injury he picked up on the field. After the game, Finch opened up on his injury and told Fox cricket, "A bit of a hip or a glute or something like that at the moment."
