Malawi receives extradition request for Bushiri

Pretoria has formally sent a request to Lilongwe seeking the extradition of self-proclaimed prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary. An assessment process will now begin in Malawi to ascertain whether or not the two can be brought back. The Bushiris absconded while on bail.
