The BJP has suffered a major setback in the Maharashtra Legislative Council elections. In the elections to the Legislative Council for 6 seats, BJP has lost five. Only one seat has been won. Shiv Sena-NCP and Congress alliance have won 4 seats. While one seat is seen going to the account of the independent candidate.

महाराष्ट्र विधान परिषद चुनाव में बीजेपी को बड़ा झटका लगा है. 6 सीटों के लिए हुए विधान परिषद के चुनाव में बीजेपी को पांच पर हार का सामना करना पड़ा है. सिर्फ एक सीट पर जीत मिली है. शिवसेना-एनसीपी और कांग्रेस गठबंधन ने 4 सीट पर जीत दर्ज की है. जबकि एक सीट निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार के खाते में जाती दिख रही है.
