On Wednesday, a meeting was held at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in which Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar and Rail Minister Piyush Goyal were present. The Central government on Tuesday sought farmers' objections as well as suggestions in writing, even as the talks between the leaders of the farmers' groups and the government held earlier in the day ended inconclusively.
