How The Moon Affects Us?

The moon has a very strong gravitational pull that is alternating the tides. This pull is more intense during New and Full Moons. So it’s not surprising that humans can feel the effects of the Moon.
A Full Moon can alterate your sleep. Indeed, people tend to stay in the deepest stage of sleep less longer than usual and it takes longer to fall asleep. It can be linked to the fact that the moon lowers melatonin level. Deprivation of sleep can also alterate mood and behavior to some people.
A New Moon can make feel people tired and it is a time where they feel keener to be introvert. A New Moon is a great time to think about your life and how you can change things that need to be.
A Full Moon can make you feel more anxious as it's very charged in energy. You can thus feel emotional and sensitive, and dreaming in a more intense way than usual.
Full Moon in literature is often linked to romantic relationship. Some people can feel more romantic than usual and more attracted to their partner. It can also be explained by the fact that people just feel overemotional at this time though.
There have been speculations about the moon effects on people for ever, and not all of them can be linked to the Moon just yet, like births rise during Full Moons. More researches need to be done in this area but none can deny the strange magnetism of the satellite.
