In Episode 3 of A Conversation with Cometan, a fascinating conversation takes place between Dr. Jeffrey Kotyk and Cometan regarding meta-astrological issues, such as "what is astrology", "should it be considered as religion", . Following on from this, the conversation moves into an explanation of astral magic, the history of astrology in Chinese civilisation, its interactions with Buddhism and Confucianism, and finally, Cometan explains how he sees Astrology's place as being part of the Astronic religious tradition (or Astronicism).
