The Home Minister targeted Owaisi on the Rohingya issue. Amit Shah said that Owaisi should write in writing, Rohingya will be taken out. But when laws are introduced, people in Parliament start making noise. He said that when he takes action on Rohingya, these people (opposition parties) start making noise. Let Owaisi write once and remove the Bangladeshi and Rohingya, then I do something. In fact, Owaisi had said that if Hyderabad remains illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya then why does Amit Shah not take action. Owaisi has responded to this same comment by Amit Shah.

गृह मंत्री ने रोहिंग्या के मुद्दे पर ओवैसी को निशाने पर लिया. अमित शाह ने कहा कि ओवैसी लिखकर दें, रोहिंग्या को बाहर निकाला जाएगा. लेकिन जब कानून लाते हैं तो संसद में लोग हल्ला करने लगते हैं. उन्होंने कहा कि रोहिंग्या पर जब वह कार्रवाई करते हैं तो ये लोग (विपक्षी दल) शोर मचाने लगते हैं. ओवैसी एक बार लिखकर दें कि बांग्लादेशी और रोहिंग्या को निकाल दें, फिर मैं कुछ करता हूं. असल में ओवैसी ने कहा था कि अगर हैदराबाद अवैध बांग्लादेशी और रोहिंग्या रहते हैं तो अमित शाह कार्रवाई क्यों नहीं करते. ओवैसी की इसी टिप्पणी अमित शाह ने जवाब दिया है।
