The Department of Tourism is now investigating an alleged quarantine breach in Boracay Island where visitors at a particular events place held a Halloween party last Oct. 31.

In a video sent to the Manila Bulletin, partygoers, some half-naked, visibly ignored physical distancing guidelines.

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat says she will go to Boracay on Dec. 2, along with her co-chairs from the Boracay Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF) to discuss the incident. They will be joined by Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

The BIATF is also mulling the local government's possible liability for the incident.
