The world-famous Champs-Elysees in the French capital Paris was all but empty on November 22, 2020, even after Christmas lights were turned on along the famous avenue. Though France is under its second lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic, there are signs that the government may be able to ease coronavirus restrictions in time for the holiday shopping season.
