After being overlooked for a spot in the Indian team for the upcoming tour of Austalia, Suryakumar showed immaculate focus and determination to continue piling up more runs for MI. Rohit Sharma, in conversation with PTI, revealed the conversation Surya had with him after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selection committee overlooked him once again. “We were sitting in our team room and I could feel he was dejected. But I didn’t go and speak to him. It was he who came up and said, ‘Don’t worry I will get over it and win the matches for MI’,” Rohit revealed.
