The Delhi government on Thursday announced that Rs 2,000 fine will be slapped on those found without a mask. Addressing the media here, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the government has decided to the hike the fine from Rs 500 to Rs 2,000 to ensure people comply with the rules. He said that wearing a mask regularly could reduce the spread of virus significantly. Watch video,


दिल्ली में कोरोनावायरस के बढ़ते प्रकोप को देखते हुए अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार ने सख्त कदम उठाने शुरू कर दिए हैं. इसके तहत लिए गए नए फैसले में मास्क न पहनने पर लगाई जाने वाले जुर्माने की रकम को बढ़ा दिया गया है. अब दिल्ली में अगर कोई मास्क नहीं पहनेगा तो उसके ऊपर ₹2000 का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा. अभी तक ₹500 का जुर्माना होता था. मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने बताया कि उपराज्यपाल से मिलकर ये फैसला ले लिया गया है.
