Retrenchments to go ahead at SABC

There seems to be much division about the SABC's planned retrenchment of 400 staff. Staff clashed with management about a proposed new structure on Tuesday. Some board members have now come out to say they are not in agreement with job cuts. And, last night government told Parliament that it as the broadcaster's sgareholder has been kept in the dark about the process. SABC board chair, Bongumusa Makhathini speaks on this.
