The encounter started around five o'clock in the morning, four militants have been killed by the security forces in the encounter. Currently the encounter is over now, but the search operation continues. The Jammu-Srinagar highway has been closed. Security forces have claimed that four terrorists were hiding in the truck and they were piled into the truck itself. Several rounds of smoke were fired from both sides.

जम्मू-कश्मीर में आतंकियों के खिलाफ सुरक्षाबलों का अभियान जारी है,इसी के तहत जम्मू-कश्मीर के नगरौटा में सुरक्षाबलों ने मुठभेड़ में चार आतंकियों को ढेर कर दिया। सुबह पांच बजे के करीब मुठभेड़ शुरू हुई थी,मुठभेड़ में सुरक्षा बलों ने चार आतंकियों को मार गिराया गया है. फिलहाल मुठभेड़ अब खत्म हो गई है, लेकिन सर्च ऑपरेशन जारी है. जम्मू-श्रीनगर हाईवे को बंद कर दिया गया है. सुरक्षाबलों ने दावा किया है कि चार आतंकी ट्रक में छिपे थे और ट्रक में ही उन्हें ढेर कर दिया गया. दोनों ओर से कई राउंड धुआंधार फायरिंग हुई.
