Violence erupts after pro-Trump rally

The November 3rd U.S. presidential election may be over,... but tensions between Trump supporters and counter-protesters continue,... prompting violence among extreme groups.

Kyung-eun, what's the latest?
Mok-yeon, tens of thousands of Trump supporters took to the streets in Washington on Saturday, to support Trump's claims of election fraud.
Trump is currently pushing ahead with legal challenges,... to overturn President-elect Joe Biden's victory.
The protesters held up Trump flags and chanted "stop the steal" echoing Trump's comment that Democrats have stolen the election.
"Look, this isn't over. It's not even close to being over. And those people that are telling you right now that it is over are lying to you. The vote has not been declared, no, there is no president-elect. It's all a lie."
The protest was mostly peaceful.
But violence erupted after the rally,... with dozens of Proud Boys, a far-right group clashing with the far-left movement.
One person was stabbed and taken to a trauma center.
At least 20 people were arrested throughout the day, and two police officers were injured.
