How Are Car Tires Retreaded?

Retread is a sustainable re-manufacturing process that applies new tread to worn tires.
A retreaded tire takes 20% of the energy used to create a brand new tire.
The old tread is stripped. The casing is inspected and buffed.
The new tread is then added with a thick coat of sticky rubber.
The tires are then cured with immense heat and pressure.
