The names of 22 faculty members and researchers of IIT Guwahati have been included in the list of top scientists in the world prepared by Stanford University of America. According to a statement issued by IIT Guwahati, experts at Stanford University have made a list of the names of more than one lakh scientists whose research work has contributed to the progress of their respective fields and researchers have also benefited from it.

अमेरिका के स्टेनफोर्ड विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा तैयार दुनिया के टॉप वैज्ञानिकों की सूची में आईआईटी गुवाहाटी के 22 संकाय सदस्यों और शोधकर्ताओं के नाम शामिल किए गए हैं. आईआईटी गुवाहाटी द्वारा जारी एक बयान के मुताबिक स्टेनफोर्ड विश्वविद्यालय में विशेषज्ञों ने एक लाख से ज्यादा ऐसे वैज्ञानिकों के नामों की सूची बनायी है, जिनके अनुसंधान कार्यों ने उनके संबंधित क्षेत्रों की प्रगति में योगदान दिया है और शोधकर्ताओं को भी इससे फायदा हुआ है.
