An informal network of volunteers in Singapore has been helping the city state’s less fortunate cope during the coronavirus pandemic. The Keeping Hope Alive group has been working since 2007, but had to temporarily stop their activities because of the pandemic. In October 2020, they resumed visiting people in neighbourhoods to support them with challenges that are often made worse because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
