26-year-old Shafiya Shafi from Kashmir turned her passion for art into a profession when she lost her teaching job due to Covid-19. Hugely popular in the Valley, the young psychology graduate not only makes art to order but also uses it as an expression for herself, predominantly confronting difficult topics like gender discrimination and social taboo.
