Having won the race to the White House, Joe Biden will now soon face the task of appointing the Members of the Cabinet.
Aided by his transition team, Biden aims to appoint a diverse cabinet that is representative of the American people.
But in a nation that has seen record-breaking COVID-19 figures, tackling the virus is another key issue he aims to address.

U.S. President-elect Joe Biden's transition team is now advising him on Cabinet choices.
The team, which was launched back in May, is co-chaired by one of Biden's closest advisors, Ted Kaufman, who replaced Biden in the Senate in 2009 when he became Vice President.
"I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide but unify, who doesn't see red states and blue states only sees the United States... The African-American community stood up again for me. You've always had my back and I'll have yours."
The official transition website lists "diversity of ideology and background" as a core value.
Biden himself has said that he wants to appoint a diverse cabinet to represent the American people.
But with COVID-19 spreading in the country at a rate of over 100-thousand new infections a day, tackling the virus will be a priority under the Biden Administration.
Biden announced during his victory speech in Delaware that he will convene a COVID-19 task force on Monday, local time... which will operate from the moment he steps into office.
"That plan will be built on bedrock science, will be constructed out of compassion, empathy and concern. I will spare no effort, none or any commitment to turn around this pandemic."
According to CNN, former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, former Food and Drug Administration Commissioner David Kessler and Yale University's Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith will head the task force as co-chairs.
