उत्तर प्रदेश में पराली जलाने को लेकर कार्रवाई जारी है. किसानों पर एफआईआर दर्ज हो रही है और उन्हें जेल भी जाना पड़ रहा है। पराली जलाने पर दर्ज हुए मुकदमों से परेशान किसानों ने शुक्रवार को झांसी जिले की मोंठ तहसील मुख्यालय पर प्रदर्शन किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने एसडीएम को ज्ञापन भी सौंपा। इस दौरान एसडीएम ने एक विवादित बयान दे दिया। एसडीएम ने किसानों को समझाते हुए कहा कि पराली जलाना गैर कानूनी है, ये सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने तय किया है। यदि सरकार आपके मन की नहीं तो सरकार ही बदल दो।
