Amazon Says ‘Borat 2’ Drew, ‘Tens of Millions’ of Viewers, Over Opening Weekend.
Amazon Studios revealed the news about its film,
‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm,’ on Tuesday.
The company also said that within the first few
hours of the ‘Borat 2’ watch party, more than
one million fans tuned in for a live Q&A. .
Although more specific numbers weren't provided,

called the movie’s debut a “tremendous launch.” .

TV analytics provider Samba TV estimates
that 1.6 million households streamed the movie
over its opening weekend on smart TVs. .
If accurate, that tops Disney Plus’ ‘Mulan’ premiere, which
registered an estimated 1.12 million household streams. .
Samba TV estimates that 48 percent
of those households watched the movie
on October 23, a Friday night.
In addition, they estimate that 45,000
households streamed the movie on
October 22, as Amazon decided to release
the movie a day earlier than planned
