Ubisoft and Netflix to Create
‘Assassin’s Creed’ TV Series.
According to ‘Deadline,’ the series
is still in search of a showrunner. .
Both Netflix and Ubisoft have released statements
expressing their excitement for the project. .
Netflix VP Peter Friedlander said that they
were “committed” to “carefully crafting” a show
that dives deeper into the game’s mythology. .

Ubisoft’s television head, Jason Altman,

‘Assassin’s Creed’ has likely been
slow to move to a TV adaptation because
of the failed 2016 movie adaptation. .
The film, led by Michael Fassbender, was
ridiculed and reportedly lost around $100 million.
