NFL Postpones Titans-Steelers Game Following Positive COVID-19 Tests.
The NFL announced on Wednesday that
the game will be played on either
Monday or Tuesday of next week.
"to allow additional time for further daily COVID-19 testing and to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel.".
The Titans closed their facilities on Tuesday after three players and five team personnel tested positive for coronavirus after their game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings also shut down their facilities
out of caution, though no positive test
results have been revealed. .
Their game against the
Houston Texans is still on for Sunday.
According to 'USA Today,' the Titans players who tested positive Tuesday are DaQuan Jones, Beau Brinkley and Tommy Hudson.
According to 'USA Today,' an additional Titans player tested positive on Wednesday.
Titans coach Mike Vrabel , said some of those who tested positive
were experiencing "flu-like symptoms."
