Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who went on a tour of Bengal, attacked the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in a press conference. Shah said that after suffering from communist rule, people had given the command of Bengal in Mamata Banerjee hands with great expectation, but today the slogan of Maa, Mati and Manusha has changed to appeasement, dictatorship and tolling. He said give us a chance, we will give Sonar Bangla. We will make Bengal safe.

बंगाल के दौरे पर गए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने प्रेस कान्‍फ्रेंस कर ममता बनर्जी की तृणमूल कांग्रेस सरकार पर जमकर निशाना साधा. शाह ने कहा कि कम्‍युनिस्‍ट शासन से त्रस्त होकर लोगों ने बड़ी उम्‍मीद के साथ ममता बनर्जी के हाथों में बंगाल की कमान दी थी लेकिन आज मां, माटी और मानुष का नारा तुष्टिकरण, तानाशाही और टोलबाजी में परिवर्तित हो गया है. उन्‍होंने कहा कि हमें एक मौका दीजिए हम 'सोनार बांग्‍ला' देंगे. हम बंगाल को सुरक्षित बनाएंगे.
