The Jharkhand government on Thursday withdrew its general consent to the CBI, becoming the eighth non-BJP ruled state in recent years to disallow the central agency from carrying out an investigation without the state government's permission.
झारखंड देश का ऐसा सातवां राज्‍य बन गया जिसने राज्‍य में किसी मामले की सीबीआई जांच के लिए सामान्‍य सहमति को वापस लेने का फैसला किया है. वो विपक्ष के उन खास राज्‍यों में शामिल हो गया है जिन्‍होंने अपने दरवाजे केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी के लिए बंद कर दिए है. इस कदम के बाद सीबीआई को अब झारखंड में किसी भी मामले की जांच के लिए राज्‍य सरकार की इजाजत लेना जरूरी होगा.
