As campaigning for the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections came to an end, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar were seen making contradictory statements on the issue of the NRC. While in Katihar, Adityanth said that the Indian government has made it clear that once in power, the NDA will eliminate any infiltrator threatening Indian borders, just hours after, Nitish Kumar said that he will maintain unity and fraternity in India.
