The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has painted a grim picture for India, pointing towards its looming water crisis.The WWF’s Risk Filter analysis has said 100 cities that hold importance in national as well as global economies and are home to 350 million people are set to face the greatest rise in water risks by 2050 “unless urgent action is taken to mitigate and adapt to climate change”.


दुनियाभर में जल की समस्या आने वाले समय में बड़ी मुसीबत बन सकती है। भारत में तेजी से घटते जल स्रोतों से पानी की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई है और आज एक-तिहाई लोगों को साफ पानी नहीं मिल पाता है। वर्ल्ड वाइड फंड की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक आने वाले समय में दुनिया के 100 महत्वपूर्ण शहर में रहने वाले करीब 35 करोड़ों लोगों को पानी की कमी का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
