A senior lawmaker on Thursday (Nov 5) suggested that all 221 MPs be quarantined under one roof for the remaining Dewan Rakyat meeting to avoid the possibility of a Covid-19 “Parliament cluster” from emerging.
Arau MP Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim also suggested that all MPs and Parliament staff should undergo a swab test once week, instead of the proposed two week period.
Shahidan, who is also Perikatan Nasional Backbenchers Club chairman raised this during Minister's Question Time in Dewan Rakyat.
