New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is engaged to her long-term partner Clarke Gayford. Gayford is a television presenter but has taken time off. The couple have been together for five years and have a daughter together. Earlier this year, Ardern was asked if she would ever propose to Gayford. "No I would not ask, no. I want to put him through the pain and torture of having to agonise about that question himself," she said.
