The financial capital of the country, Mumbai witnessed incessant rains for the past two days disrupting normal life. Not just Maharashtra, but other states including Gujarat, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh are also witnessing heavy rains. The India Meteorological Department (MeT) has forcast that Maharashtra will continue to experience incessent rainfall till the middle of this week, with "heavy to extremely heavy rain" predicted in Pune, parts of Vidarbha and Konkan till August 8.
