Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, women in Maharashtra’s Sangli district were seen tying ‘rakhis’ on the wrist of Indian Army personnel, Navy and Police officials. The women expressed their gratitude to the soldiers for rescue operations in the flood-hit region. The soldiers in response expressed their gratitude for sharing the celebrations with them. They were also singing a song for them and chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.
