Tarun Tejpal Case: Supreme Court Refuses To Quash Rape Charges, Asks To Conclude Trial In 6 Months

The Supreme Court has refused to quash the rape charges against Tarun Tejpal, former Tehelka magazine editor. Apart from stating that he is not guilty, Tejpal had claimed that the incident had been a 'lapse of judgment'. The apex court also observed that the trial in the case should be concluded in a period of six months.
