Srinagar: Part of Dal Lake was frozen as the temperature dropped in the region. Locals resorted to bonfires to beat the winter chill. The minimum temperature was recorded at -6.2 °C in Srinagar on December 29. North India is reeling under cold wave, bringing life to a halt.
