Kunal Kamra Suspended By 4 Airlines After He Confronts Arnab Goswami On Mumbai-Lucknow Indigo Flight

Kunal Kamra, a stand-up comedian known for his anti-BJP stance confronted Arnab Goswami, the owner and face off Republic TV channel on an Indigo flight. The duo were travelling from Mumbai to Lucknow on Indigo’s 6E 5317 and Kamra chose to call out Goswami for his support to the government as well as the language used by him against those opposing the BJP, for eg: anti-nationals for JNU students. Kamra posted the video of the interaction on twitter handle. Subsequently, Union Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri took cognizance of the incident and asked airlines to suspend Kamra from being allowed to fly with them. As of January 29, four airlines – Indigo, Air India, Spice Jet and Go Air have suspended Kamra from travelling with them.
