Coronavirus: IAFs C-17 Aircraft With Relief Supplies Flies Off To Wuhan, Brings Back 112 People

As the world continues to reel under the deadly coronavirus outbreak, Indian Air Force’s massive C-17 Globemaster military aircraft departed for Wuhan. The gigantic aircraft was loaded with 15 tonnes of medical supplies to help the people in the Chinese city. The aircraft returned to India with 76 Indians and 36 nationals from seven other nations. PM Modi had expresses solidarity with China in this grave moment of adversity. This evacuation took hours after an Air India flight brought back 119 Indians and five nationals of other countries from the quarantined cruise ship Diamond Princess, docked in Japan. Reportedly, The death toll in China has reached 2,715 while the number of confirmed cases have jumped to 78,064.
