Coronavirus: Boris Johnson Hospitalised, Queen Elizabeth Gives Rare Address, US Records 9,655 Dead

Coronavirus’ rampage has spared no one including the prime minister of United Kingdon, Boris Johnson. The British prime minister tested positive for COVID-19 infection 10 days ago but remained at home and led the country as it saw increasing number of coronavirus cases. However, Johnson was hospitalised in the early hours of April 6 after his symptoms remained persistent. United States is bracing for a “Pear Harbour moment” as cases in New York and across the country surge. US President Donald Trump said that “a tough two weeks are coming up for the country.” Meanwhile, Japan which has been spared the death rates seen in European countries is likely to announce a state of emergency as the infection ravages the global economy.
