One of the most successful Kabaddi players of the country, Rakesh Kumar celebrates his 38th birthday on this day. Born in the Kabaddi hub (Nizampur) of India, Kumar lived up to the tradition and became one the most sought Kabaddi players in the country. He was the vice-captain of the team that won the 2007 Kabaddi World Cup and also the player to have attracted the highest price at the inaugural PKL auctions.
