Valentis Hospital Coronavirus Ad Controversy: UP Police Registers FIR Against Meerut Hospital Owner

The Uttar Pradesh Police has registered an FIR against the owner of Valentis Hospital for publishing a discriminatory advertisement in a local newspaper. The hospital advertisement in a Hindi newspaper asked Muslims to visit the hospital only if they have been tested for coronavirus and their their results turned out negative. The advertisement had also said the hospital will send the sample of the patient and attendant for Covid-19 in case of an emergency and they will be charged Rs 4,500 for each test.
