Congress Spokesperson Sanjay Jha has tested positive for coronavirus. Jha confirmed the news on May 22. Sanjay Jha, who is asymptomatic of the infection, is under home quarantine in Mumbai. India has recorded 6,654 new coronavirus cases during a 24-hour period starting 8 am on May 22. This was the biggest single-day spike since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. The total now stands at 125101 cases with 69597 active cases.
